Basic DJ Course

Over four weeks you have one-to-one sessions with your tutor who will guide you step-by-step through how the equipment works and how you can utilize it to start building your own DJ skills. We teach in small groups to ensure plenty of one-to-one coaching and every student has their own decks and mixer in class to gain essential hands-on experience. By the end of the Basic DJ course you should be confident in your mixing technique and be able build a set, blending seamlessly from one track to another.

Intermediate DJ Course

You’ve mastered beat-matching but are now looking to hone in on gaining your own creative DJ skills and get the most from the latest DJ technology. The intermediate level DJ academy course gives you the scope to become more creative with your mixing. We'll look at CD mixing, MP3 mixing, effects and recording. Pro DJs show you how to add a real performance element to your set and how to put together a professional demo to get those all-important gigs. We teach in small groups and every student has their own decks and mixer in class to ensure plenty of hands-on experience and one-to-one coaching.

Advanced DJ Course

Pro DJs from every scene demonstrate how to take the turntables and transform them into a musical instrument, using the full range of turntablist skills. From scratching to beat juggling and many more complex routines, the advanced DJ course will teach you how these skills can build up your repertoire as a DJ and make you stand out from the rest with your signature DJ skills. The classes are small, which ensures intimate one-to-one training and each student has their own pair of decks and a mixer to work with, so plenty of practical experience at hand.

Once you know Ableton Live inside out, the digital DJ can manipulate Ableton Live in order to blur the line between DJing and live performance.
